You might like to share this in an intimate occasion, or with a huge party of family and friends.

I would love to get to know you and your family, your character and hopes and dreams. To make this memorable occasion relaxed and fun, we can be creative with your choice of special touches such as songs, poems, artwork or shared rituals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we have godparents at our naming ceremony?

Not exactly – usually the non-religious terms used are ‘guide-parents’ or ‘supporting adults’, but you can also come up with your own titles for the special adults that promise to support and guide your child through life.

Can we include other people and/or children in our ceremony?

Yes – anyone who will add to the joy of the day will be a welcome addition to your ceremony. You can also have one naming ceremony for several children in the family.

Can we write parts of the ceremony ourselves?

Yes – if you wish to write any elements the ceremony, then that will make it even more special and unique. I am also happy to read your words for you, or support you to say them on the day.

Can we have a non-religious ceremony?

Yes – a secular ceremony can be just as memorable and heartfelt.

Can we include religious content in our ceremony?

Yes – ceremony can incorporate any religious elements that you would like to use, including and entwining elements from different faiths is also possible. The ceremony is all about what is important to you.
